Veterinary Assistance Disclaimer
Mitzvahs, Mutts & More provides charitable financial assistance to help eligible animals access necessary veterinary care when financial hardship may otherwise create a barrier to treatment.
Â
Requests Must Come From a Veterinary Professional
All requests for financial assistance must be initiated and submitted directly by a veterinarian or veterinary hospital.

Requests, claims, applications, or requests for reimbursement submitted directly by a pet owner, client, family member, or other individual will be denied and will not be considered for financial assistance.
Pet owners who believe they may qualify for assistance should speak directly with their treating veterinarian and ask the veterinary team to contact Mitzvahs, Mutts & More on their behalf.

Â
Once a qualifying request is received from a veterinary professional:
Our veterinary staff will review with your veterinary team.
Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. Assistance is subject to eligibility requirements, available funding, medical circumstances, and review by Mitzvahs, Mutts & More.

Financial Assistance Is a Donation — Not a Loan
Any financial assistance approved by Mitzvahs, Mutts & More is provided as a charitable donation toward eligible veterinary care.
It is not a loan, and approved assistance is not required to be repaid by the pet owner.

Payments Are Made Directly to the Veterinary Provider

Mitzvahs, Mutts & More does not issue assistance payments directly to pet owners or reimburse pet owners for veterinary bills they have already paid unless expressly authorized by the organization.

No Guarantee of Funding
Submitting a request does not create an entitlement to financial assistance or guarantee that funding will be available.

Mitzvahs, Mutts & More reserves the right to approve, partially approve, decline, or request additional information regarding any request based on available resources, program requirements, the circumstances of the case, and the information provided by the treating veterinary team.

Veterinary Care Decisions
Mitzvahs, Mutts & More does not replace the veterinarian-client-patient relationship and does not direct or control medical treatment.
